I just received an email from Bear father Craig James that captures well my feelings about scouting:
"I'm not sure how many fathers are like me, but as a divorced father let
me say that the chance to bond with my son like we did last weekend was
something that I'll never forget. Don't get me wrong, my wife and I see
Lucas a lot, but the experiences Lucas and I have had with scouting in
this first month have been very memorable and we hope that Lucas
continues to have fun and wants to participate.
Thanks again for a great time. Please express my gratitude to all of
those who help put this and all of the other events together."
